...finally.

I've gone through several blogs and have been thinking for a couple years, "I should start a new one."

So I did.

And of course, my first post is going to be about food. I love food, and this weekend I gathered all my faith and patience to make the infamous french macarons.
It was a delicate process, and after three years and dozens of failed attempts, I finally did it.

They consist of egg whites, sugar, almond flour, sugar, food coloring, oh, and did I mention, sugar?
The filling is a vanilla buttercream.. I have a lot left over, and it's SO tempting not to just eat all of it.
It took me a whole two days to make them. But that was a rush. I really recommend them though. They're pretty magical.
